Did you get some miles in this weekend?

The rain finally let up here Sunday, so I watched part of the "Ride like a Pro" video during morning breakfast and coffee, then headed over to the high school parking lot for about an hours worth of practice on circles, weaves, and figure eights.
After that I blasted out south of town and then circled back to the west and made a big loop back to the house, got about 80 miles in.

I did however get 700 miles in the week leading up to this past weekend

670 miles on the desert at the Laughlin River run.

 

0 miles. It rained all weekend. Looking good for next weekend though.

 

I went from San Antonio to Baytown, which is east of Houston. Rained on us almost the entire ride there!!!

Headed back on Sunday. All together it was somewhere around 600 miles!

 

0 miles. Rained in Chicago area.

Question for HarleyWood, how was that " Ride Like a Pro" video? I thought about getting it. I know the basics and have been riding for a year now. I believe they teach the slow manuevers on that tape.

865 miles while on the Laughlin run. Its only 244 from home to Laughlin so yes......we did some scenic riding.

 

Saturday I led a group to Redding for the 8th annual Fallen Rider Memorial Run. It was a great run and a nice trip up and back about 350 miles.
Sunday went up to Downieville through some wicked mountain roads with some friends for lunch. A great ride about 160 miles.

All together a terrific weekend of riding with some great friends, what more could a person ask for.

Messed around in the Colorado Foothills a bit. Tons of bikes out and about. Not bad since it snowed twice last week.
