I liked it when it was just a Harley card, it was thru Harley credit and could be only used at Harley dealers. Great to have for the road. when they went with Visa around 20 years ago I tore mine up.

I have the HD Visa and like the plan. I have cashed in vouchers that bought my chrome front end kit, 5000 and 10,000 services, new rear tire, some chrome and paid for part of my 103 upgrade. I use it for lots of things but pay it off each month or at worst carry over to next month and paid off.
I travel for work so I use it to pay for everything and get reimbursed when I get done with the trip so its easy to rack up 5-10k a month when we where really busy.
And it takes about 2 weeks tops for me to get my vouchers when I requested them.

Most financial advisors say that people that use credit cards charge an adverage of 12 to 18 % more when they use plastic that's why they can offer you 1% back on everything you charge. I to used to charge everything now I use a debit card and at the end of every month I'm amazed at how much cash I have left over. I'm not a slave to the lender anymore.

Got one, used it. Got chrome too. What really impressed me the number got out to a fraudulent group and the bank caught it right away and contacted me. Saved me a lot of headache. Got to give them a thumbs up.

That's why you have to pay it off every month. It's really just like a debit card for me but if there is an unauthorized charge on it, I can dispute it and it's happened. A debit card is a direct link to your bank account and you have less recourse, if any, if a fraudulent charge occurs.

If you have good credit, 13% is a crappy rate. I don't keep a card with a rate of 7%. But I have excellent credit.
There are many other cards out there that offer cash back, points and lots of other crap. How much are you really going to spend at a harley dealer anyway? I don't know a lot of people who have $10,000 worth of "Harley" accessories on their bike. Most seem to have aftermarket accessories.
But it you think it the card for you, go ahead an apply?
