It's not nice to f@#k with a man's brain that way.

HD Vivid Black is PPG code 9850.
Black Pearl is 905208
Black Cherry is 905951

I haven't painted in a while, but I always liked either PPG or Dupont. Acrylic urethane is user friendly and has a high gloss straight from the can or you can color sand and buff like a laquer for show gloss. They make various hardness so I would talk with your local jobber about what clear to use for your needs. I thought PPG was easier to spray but Dupont produced better gloss and less orange peel.

All paint is gonna come in a can. PPG & DuPont used to be the top two. DuPont has pretty much ignored their automotive paint division for years, so, they're not the best choice these days. PPG, Sherwin-Williams, Sikkens... they all make good, quality, products.

I perfer PPG, its easy to paint. I am sure you know prep is 90% of the work. Do a good job on the prep and you will turn out with a nice paint job!

top dogs are sikkens, glasurit and spies hecker

next ones would be diamont, lesonal, sherwin williams, and ppg

prep work makes a paint job.... more expensive clears have more UV protection in them thats why they get pricey
