Factory warranty ends today

I bought my 04 RG with a one year extended warranty. In that year the bike was in the shop 6 times for a month each time. The biggest problem was the extended warranty dose cover everything and they have to come out and see it every time after ity was fix for payment on the extended warranty. That keeps you bike sitting for two week longer each time. And after all that they never fix everything that I wanted fix. I could pay up front and had the bike fix at any shop in a couple hours on any day of the week. Pay for extended warranty or pay out of pocket. The cost of the extended warranty want of paid for all that work.

Wow, so many people for it and so many against it. I was a little worried about letting it run out, but I have had extended warrantees on other things and never used them. I have 14,700 miles on the bike so far with no problems. So I hope it stays that way. At lease for another 5 years and beyond.

Works out to less than 70¢ a day. I like to ride. The transmission on the Heritage goes out like the Low Rider did I don't have to shell out $2000.
They tow it in, they fix it, I give them $50. That's $1950 I can spend on Chrome, Leather, whatever.
I ride a lot. Things break.

That, my friend, is your fault.
If you were sick, and went to hospital... Would you walk out if they told you you were OK?
Me neither....
