Default Any toyhauler owners here or trailer users?

We have a toyhauler Rv and need to get some chocks in it for our 2 harleys. We have read about the Harbor freight one and think it would be a good choice,, but we need it to be removable when we get to the campgrounds like a bike pro is. Does anyone that has one of these know it you can get the removable mounting brackets for it? I called HF yesterday and whoever I was talking to had no idea.

Well we went and got the HF chocks and they are really nice, but they didnt come with a removable plate. We are trying to figure out a way to use them or maybe return for something else.. for the money we can try to modifiy them, we were looking at the boltiton system and maybe attaching them to that,, we need them attached somehow as we cant get bike out of them , they just slide around.. any thoughts?

I have a Condor Wheellock on my trailer.
Removes within seconds.

When it's not on the trailer I use it in the garage to clean the bike.

+++1 As previously said, these are great chocks, not cheap. I picked mine up off eBay and saved a couple $. Makes loading and unloading bikes pretty easy without additional assistance.

I also have to agree on the Condor. Nice unit and well built. I have one that is 5 years old and still works perfectly.

I have the harbor frieght ones and I mounted them so they are removable alot cheaper I used a plate under the the trailer and tack welded nuts to them and used self taping screws to hold the plates to the framing of the trailer and drilled holes in the trailer floor and just run bolts through the chocks into the plates when the chocks are in use

If you have a threaded hole or T slot under the chocks you can find some things here for mounting them and be easily removable:

Thanks for the info on mounting the harborfreight chocks.. Hubby says he will look at them this weekend and also check out those links... this chock looks just like the condor so I hope we can use them..

I can only speak for this unit and I am VERY pleased with it.

"Bike Pro Motorcycle Wheel Chock - 20106"

http://store.rampconnection.com/prod...f9bdc08f30279d

The dealer I bought our tow hauler from has a Fat Boy set up on one of these in his show room and I was sold on it even before we bought the trialer. He is a BIG trailer dealer selling high end rigs to Nascar race teams all the way to Prevost motor homes and he told me this was the best unit he has ever used.

I can drive up on it and it holds the SG right in place and I can strap it down by myself without worries of it falling. Then with a slight pull back the bike is off and I'm out of the trailer. I have only towed it about 1000 miles now but it is very secure and it can be removed in two minutes and all you have is a metal plate in the floor.

Good luck

Use a couple of Bike Pros in the trailer, easily removeable from permantly mounted base plate. Have option baseplate for use in the garage. Works great. Chrome too!
