trans lube
#6
I use the Spectro 6speed 75-145 and definitely noticed an improvement. Tranny shifts smoother and is quieter. And I no longer have a problem finding neutral.
I don't think there's anything special about the brand and at my next change I may go with another synthetic brand of the same weight that is less expensive and easier to find. I could only find mine online at Bobscycle. As I recall it was over $16 a qt + shipping.

$8 a quart for the Spectro sportster chaincase (5-speed) oil from Dennis Kirk:
(This isn't the same thing as the 6-speed lube.)

I've been using Klotz V-Twin Primary Case Lubricant, much smoother shifting and less noise. Big fan of Klotz since my younger dirt riding / racing days. You probably can't go wrong with any of the big name Syn's. Red Line, Mobil1, Spectro, all good brands.
