Default Should I trade?

I won a Stoeger 12 guage over under at a cancer fundraiser this weekend. I guy came up and wants to trade a 1968 350 HD Sprint for it. He says the bike runs but has not been restored.
What do you think?
Thanks

Thats going to be a choice for you to make. Being a firearm enthusiast I would want the gun. Have a HD in my garage is of equall value. Ask yourself if your up to the task of restoring the scoot. Is that something you would enjoy? Is it something you can afford? I mean there are way to many un answered questions. Like, do you even shoot? Is the gun something you can enjoy. Are you even into guns? I guess your going to have to ponder this for a wile and decide what the best choice for you would be. Goodluck.

I had one in 1969 keep the gun and I am not a hunter.

Check into how hard parts are to find. It was a fun bike to ride on and off road in 69-70 but not sure about today. Try doing some research about the bike, it was never a big seller.

Keep the gun. When you can't find parts for it, it'll end up behind the shed. You'll find that it's much easier to find 12 ga shells!!

That's the best he could come up with? A 68 one-lunger for a new gun? Check some online auctions to get a ballpark figure for the gun and tell him you'll take cash only, if you don't want to keep it.

the shotgun shells will be a lot cheaper than trying to find parts for that old bike.

just because its old, doesnt mean that its classic. sometimes "old" is just "old"
