Default Good Luck On Jiffy Stand Bracket

I have been waiting 2 weeks for the bracket to come in for my 09 Ultra jiffy stand. Part # 50096-96 is on back order. 2 dates have come and gone. I'm going to the dealer this morning and reclaiming my bike. I called 6 dealers this morning and they all show 4/3 as a ship date, but they aren't holding much faith on that date either.

Buddies stand broke the other day. Dealer had it fixed in 10 min. cost $13.00. Don't understand the back order buisness.

HD put 08 Jiffy stands on 09 touring models on early build dates. With the larger wheels on the 09 touring models the lean over a lot more and increases the chances of the bike tipping over also some of the riders with shorter legs can make it difficult to get off the stand. The new bracket corrects that issue.

If that's the case an old trick is to "adjust" the lean angle by placing washers between the bracket and frame. Washers at top decrease the angle; at the bottom increase the angle (useful on lowered bikes).

I don't have an 09, but that would **** me off.
