I have a roadking that is like more comfortable than my car SUMTIN AINT RIGHT ( i see you from slidell i live in Hammond nice to meet ya

 

Something very wrong going on there, like others said, should be smooth. Mine is!

 

My King with the sundowner seat rides better than a caddy, I did buy the air pump gadget after a trip down a road from h ll. But like everyone else says the king is smooth from begiining to cruzin. Test drive another one.

 

Ever ride with a windshield before it takes getting use too,thats the problem i beleive get that cruiser you wont regret as you motor down the highway[sm=biker2.gif]

 

Mine doesn't shake except at idle...tell them you want to test another one. They might not know it is bad if you don't mention it.

My new 2006 Road King is very smooth after idle. Something must be wrong with the bike you road. George

I'm echoing everybody else. After idle, the ride is VERY smooth. Give the King another chance with a different bike.

 

I have a SG "06", when I pull the clutch in just before coming to a rolling stop (15mph) as engine comes back down toward idle I get a roughness in the handlebars, a little more than what I would call a vibration, also at idle which is around 1000 rpm there's a lot of shake in the bars. Does all of this sound normal? Bike has 3500 miles on it, so it's been through it's 1000 mile already.

Friend of mine 05 Ultra was doing something similar... Bad Motor Mount... Replaced it... and guess what... Replaced one was vibrating like crazy after 400 more miles... I have an 06 Ultra... Put my foot on my running board... pretty smooth.... put it on his and I said, "Wholly Shettz!!!!!!!"...
