Too poor this year to get to Sturgis, so it'll be local stuff. Hawg Holler is a big and good one and only 5 miles from my house! http://www.hawgholler.net/index.htm

+1 i agree. most events/bikenights/rallys/etc. are played out.

same crappy ole has been bands with 2 original members and no hits in decades.

same vendors hawking the same ole stuff (though there is the occasional gem of a find)

same exibitions.

the truth is that biker "friendly" events are much better than "biker specific" events.

i would rather find a group of people, ride in and sit around a camp fire and talk and what not.

i have a rule about festivals and events. if there is no campfire/bonfire it will probably be lame

[QUOTE=Da Gumpmeister;4760604]ABATE of Iowa, FREEDOM Rally, Algona, Ia. July 4th weekend. GREAT rally. Lay all jokes aside, those Iowegians do know how to put on a rally weekend. THANX, Neighbors.

It's on private ground so if you don't cause no harm most anything goes! Clothing is very optional! Best not wear colors unless they be Son's colors.

Default Hogrock in June

You can never go wrong with Hogrock in june...the october rally is good.... better than most other rallys, but the june rally is something you just have to witness. I try to tell people what it's like, but you really can't describe it.....it is an event!!!

My buddy and I are thinking of riding down to Hawg Holler in a couple of weeks. It's a 6 hour ride for us....Honestly, anybody know if it's worth the ride? Remember...6 hour ride. I've heard it's a pretty small rally, but I don't know if that's 300 people small, or 3000 people small. I would appreciate anybody's input. Thanks a lot.

Never heard of the Run 21 but I've only lived here a few years.

Street Vibrations for sure, it's always fun.

Sturgis is way up on my list but not 100% sure yet.
