lets be honest NOW!now that the 07s have been out for allmost 2yrs and most everybody has gone to picking on somethingelse.Has anyone trashed their motor from it running to hot from the factory?REALLY? I have an 07 ultra, sure it runs hot BUT,ive never had any problems with it.It already had a stage 1 when I got it.
back in 02 I had a yamaha grizzly 660 4 wheeler, first of its kind, new and improved.Everyone said the samething bout it,it runs to hot,it stalls.it misses,it over heats.I had it for over 6000 mis.in the mud, blood and the beer!!it still runs hot and dandy!!!
anyway just wondering if anyone had a mototr(07) go south cuz of factory over heating`. Thanks , lectraglide

Also, most H-D's carry 4 quarts of oil, not 3.
My sporty is 3qts at oil change and the lowrider is 2.5 qts. Says it right there in the manual. I have heard pros and cons on coolers but one thing comes across. Wahetever brand you put on it needs to be like those made by Jagg. There are some type of baffle in the lines that "stir" up the flow so rather than just cooling the portion of the oil at the outside of the tube you get more being cooled Don't know if it is absolute truth but it does make sense.
