lets be honest NOW!now that the 07s have been out for allmost 2yrs and most everybody has gone to picking on somethingelse.Has anyone trashed their motor from it running to hot from the factory?REALLY? I have an 07 ultra, sure it runs hot BUT,ive never had any problems with it.It already had a stage 1 when I got it.
back in 02 I had a yamaha grizzly 660 4 wheeler, first of its kind, new and improved.Everyone said the samething bout it,it runs to hot,it stalls.it misses,it over heats.I had it for over 6000 mis.in the mud, blood and the beer!!it still runs hot and dandy!!!
anyway just wondering if anyone had a mototr(07) go south cuz of factory over heating`. Thanks , lectraglide

If that was true, then he's never drained hot 50 weight when it runs like water. Some engines aren't stock. Mine has 10.5:1 compression. More compression = more heat. Before I added an oil cooler, I could hear my lifters when I pulled up to the guard shack at the Badlands (450 miles @ 98+ degrees). Now it purrs.
Also, most H-D's carry 4 quarts of oil, not 3.
