LOL...judgin by the OP...and all the "I didn't know that" replies...I would estimate that 75% of my head-pats were merely for the other rider's confusion/amusement.

Yeah, pretty much. Sorry, I've been offline but typically a helmet behind either wheel means rider in distress/assistance needed. Some put it behind front wheel, some the rear but the message is the same.
