Now that sounds like a good story ! LOL LOL

Want to tell that one too ?

Glad it turned out the way it did. I bet both of you will be safer drivers because of the near miss. I learn tons of things on this forum and you may have just saved me from the same oops.
Thanks.

I just changed out the rear lights and turns on the tour pack for that reason. You can always get run over, I just want to make sure they see me when they are running me down. Ride Time Technology has enough stuff to change the light world.

It's the start of a new season. We're not use to watching for cars that aren't watching for us and cars aren't use to watching for us. A bike takes a good bit more concentration than a car. So a little thing like avoiding gravel on the pavement entering a parking lot can make you forget to do something else like watch the car behind you to be sure they see you're stopping.

If it was on Trenton Road in front of Sonya's, I'm not surprised.

Thanks for the reminder to always watch yer ***. We get complacient sometimes and hearing it from someone else just makes it sink in even more. Glad it turned out ok. Go get some new drawers and keep on riding.

I'm glad he did not hit you and you are okay. That was smart and quick thinking on your part.

These things can make you a better and safer rider if we all learn from them.

One of my fellow chapter members was not as lucky last year when he was making a left hand turn into his driveway and a car ran over him and kept on going. He lived with only minor injuries but the bike was a mess. They had three people to witness the accident but they did not get a license number of the car and never caught the guy.

Be careful
