Default Bike covers

My bike stays out in the sun all day when I ride to work and was thinking of getting a bike cover for it this summer and was wondering if anybody here uses one. Which is a nice inexpensive one and do they really protect from the sun?
Also would like to get one for the wifes car. Any information would be appreciated.

for cars, I swear by NOAH fabrics, sold by covercraft, etc.

how much do you want to spend on a bike cover and where is bike going to be parked? cycleshell/cyclevault will run you close to $300:

this is what I am currently using ($47 off ebay) from this seller: http://stores.shop.ebay.com/DuraShie...__W0QQ_armrsZ1

I have a couple H-D weatherproof covers that I used to use for winter storage outside. They both held up very well over several winters and high winds. I doubt you want a heavy duty weatherproof cover for just while you're at work, but, I would imagine the lighter "indoor" covers are made just as well and would keep the direct sun and dust off it while you're at work.

try ebay for good deals (will cost a pretty penny if bought new). google NOAH+cover for a list of online sources. P.S. COSTCO also carries a decent cover for much less.
