Strange goings on
This is for all you northern guys and gals. Looked outside today and saw this strange wet stuff coming out of the sky. Had to check it out and finally realized it's rain. Don't see that too often in these parts.

GREAT riding out there........................................... provided the road isn't closed due to smoke obsurity.
According to some, you folks need rain in Biblical proportions, to even get caught up, let alone have some in reserve.
That goes thru my head, everytime we contemplate moving south and west.
I've lived thru 2 droughts out in SoDak, IT AIN'T PURDY!!!
Governor declared several counties on the Mn-NoDak border, State of Emergency, so they can get the Nat'l Guard in there to help the locals.
Lots o' rain last fall (ground saturated), more snow than usual, and now a rain strom coming thru this week, possibly dumping up to 3" of rain.
They just had the 200 yr flood, 11 yrs ago. They are saying this one, could beat that one by 1/2 foot. 40 feet of water, vs 39.5, which was '97. They are scrambling 24/7 up by Fargo. Last time, the whole city went under water, yet it was burning to the waterline.

I've got a daughter and son-in-law returning from a trip via Rapid City, hope they get ahead of all the weather. They went southern Utah, so i imagine they didn't take any winter clothes with them. You guys in the Fargo area thoughts and prayers are with you.

Yep raining here too, but there is a small problem,.... it is below freezing so the streets sidewalks parking lots .. everything is covered in a thin layer of ice. Just love this Sask. weather

We in the Northeast are not used to the balmy weather above freezing, and seeing bare ground not covered in ice and snow.We are still walking on our sea legs.
