PGR Mission
I went on my first PGR mission yesterday, and man was it impressive. Family of deceased elderly USMC Ssgt was very appreciative.
Thanks PGR for all that you do.

Welcome to the PGR. Welcome home missions are very uplifting. To witness the joy of the G.I. and the family is great. But also, the funeral missions are very sad. But you are there to lend support to the family in their time of sorrow. Either way, it is a job that needs to be done.

I allways feel better after a mission, Some can be very educational also. went on a mission a couple of months ago. A WW11 army bomber pilot who still holds the record for the longest taxi of an aircraft. After the war he landed a flying boat a few hundred miles off the coast for a rescue and broke part of a wing off. He taxied it all the way to shore. I thought what a life this hero had. You allways hear a different story.
