My dealer recommended the SERT over the download because of it's adjustment possibilities.
They ran two different maps on my bike, and the last one is absolutely PERFECT.
No poppong, banging, sputtering and not over rich. Runs great and I know if I change anything on the engine, it's just a simple computer hook up and download that I could do myself.

 

I believe I would take it back and demand they credit your download purchase toward a SERT. Even if they did install the wrong flash.

Hey Bob, you were right about the cartridge. They installed the 34410-06 cartridge for an FLT or FLSTSCI. They said, "you are right", and told me they would get me right in to install the correct cartridge (34402-06).

 

When the download is installed, with the package that it is DESIGNED FOR!!!!!! it works fantastic....

I am glad to hear that they treated you good and accepted responsibility for their error...

FWIW, you have a responsible Service Department there, let them know that you are appreciative of that.

According to the mass' here, the dealers are thieves and incompetent in their service dept....
