Am I missing something here?? Am I the only one that uses a smart phone that does all the same things a stand alone GPS unit does?

I don't have a smart phone but I do have an iPad but it only has Wi-Fi. I'd like a GPS but there's no plug on my Blackline, not that I know of.

26 states and 6 provinces later I'm glad I spent MY money on a Zumo 450...
It's provided all the info I've wanted in my travels and without giving a care about the weather or being left on the bars for weeks at a time...if I ever replace it, how cheaply I can do almost the same job WON'T be my first concern....it's proven itself to me.

I carry a Garmin nuvi 1450LMT in my jacket pocket.
It was $130 when I got it with lifetime maps and traffic updates.

My 5" TomTom START 55TM with RAM mount that I routed the cigarette plug to the handlebar. It's hard wired to the battery. I know I can route the power cord from the GPS neater but I just haven't taken the time to do it.

Not quite. The screen of most of today's GPS are larger. To me, that's a big consideration.
