Riding California to DC and looking for others to join me portions of the way!
Im riding alone the first week of July from Cali to Dc. It would be great to hook up with other riders to ride portions of the way with me.
If you want to just ride a few miles or through your entire state, that would be great!
I will be riding through California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentuck and West Virginia.

Yes..West Virginia is great. This will be my fourth cross country trip on my Harley!
Kromdom... Im starting from Los Angeles, north on the 15 through Nevada into Utah. From there, I head east on the 70 all the way to Illinois. Then drop down the 64 into Richmond, Va. A couple days there, then up to DC to pay my respects to The Veitam Memorial and then on toOcean City, NJ. for a week with family.

If you're going through Illinois on I-80, I could me you at the Mississippi and go through to Chicago area.

How long do you think the entire trip will take? My wife and I are planning on going back to CT this summer but I would like to talk her into doing it on 2 wheels.

Cowboy1... Ill take the entire month to do the trip. But, at about 600 miles per day I get accross in about five days.
lh4x4... Ill keep you in mind for the ride back. Maybe Ill come that way. I wont do the same route back thats for sure!

A month sounds like a great trip. If we did a month it would be all the time we have for the year. Good luck and be safe. Do you have a lap top and digital camera? If so you should do a trip thread and post a bunch of info...I know I would read it every day...

I will bring a small lap top and a cam! Im on TravelPod as well. There I will blog and upload pics. Ill do the same here!!
