Default The Cap'n's Great Grand-DAD (1907)

Stumbled acrossed this on the SoDak Craigslist.
It is NOT 'original', BUT what a 'classy' li'l find.
Hope you enjoy looking at the 'predecessor' of YOUR ride.

1907 Harley-Davidson Retro Replica. I've attached the ad, so you can read 'bout it if you wish.

Just thought it was interesting as H*LL to look at, and think about.
Imagine taking this critter to your fav watering hole.
BUT get your checkbook out. YOWZA!!

You buy it Gump. It is too pricey for me. It's really not that good a replica. 'Course he might take an old farm truck for it. Check with his wife. She seems to be calling the shots.

I'll pass and go get one of these instead. I just wonder what kind of crazy critter would ride something like this? Anybody know?

The economy has put some J's and F's in the market in the low $20's and some nice VL's in the $15K range. I'd pass on this, but it would start some conversations around my house. Like where I was planning on sleeping.

Since it is a replice wouldn't it be more like a STEP-Great Grand-Dad?
I personally wouldn't spend 12k on a replica.

12 K on a replica and then "some assembly required" , yea if I had everything else I wanted and had an extra 15-18 K stuffed in the beer fridge doing nothing...
I'm just sayin..........
