Default Advice for a tall guy on Road King

Hey guys got my 05 Road King custom Friday and it finally stopped raining this morning. Took it out for a couple hours and had a blast, man I missed that feeling. Anyway, my dilema; I am 6"5 300. I need some help to get the best configuration to get my legs stretched and my butt back. I need a good seat and controls combination. If you tall guys could post some pics and tell me what I need to do to get comfortable. What seat do i need? Do I need to get forward controls or extend the floor boards? Thanks, I know you guys will come to the rescue.

I had the same issue. Felt like I was on the tank and hunched over. Went with a Corbin Holllywood solo and 16" apes. The seat put me back about 2-3" and the apes get you in the right position to stretch out. Get some highway pegs and you will be fully stretched. There are a lot of seats out there that can move your position around. The bars were my best comfort modification. Hope this helps.

Tall boy seat by HD. RPHD usually has them in stock. But call me if you want a place to find a better price.

I'm 6'5" 290 on a RKC. Send the stock seat to Mean City Cycles in NC and get him to add memory foam and move you up and move you back in the seat. I've had Mustang and Corbin seats and they couldn't touch the re-do MCC did and at half the cost of a new seat.

I use a corbin seat and heritage bars. The corbin moves you back and the bars compensate for this.

Tallboy seat and forward controls...You could trade it in for a wide glide. They are built for tall people...
