I was running the Arlin Ness four point mirrors, but the left one always seemed to work its way loose and finally the threads stripped so I put the stock mirrors back on until I find another pair that I like

I have these:

on my Nightster. I like round mirrors better than the teardrops that came on the bike. I can see better with them, because they don't vibrate as much as the stock ones.

Switched out the stock mirrors for the HD Buckshot's in black.

Put a pair of 2000 fatboy mirrors (OEM chrome rectangle) on my RK. I got them off ebay for $20. They are in excellent shape and I like the clean, no nonsense look.

Actually you are suppossed to have a head light, tail/brake light and 1 mirror. What we do when we build choppers is take the blinkers off when registered and if we are using controls that don't accept mirrors, we clamp a dental mirror on the handlebar until registered...
