Arai Quantum 2 for me right now. It's been a great helmet. But it needs replacing and I've tried on the RF1000 and it fits me pretty well.

 

I voted for the 3/4 with eye protection because you didn't list 3/4 with face shield which is what I wear. On trips and in colder weather I wear an Arai Profile full face helmet.

 

Novelty most times, when it's really cold a 3/4 with a blacked out flip down shield and if there wasn't a helmut law here none unless it was too cold...funny thing is I wear a seat belt in my cages though...go figure...

 

Novelty all the time and just because state law requires a helmet. They don't look for the dot on the back.

 

About sums it up for me.....

 

Half-helmet 100% of the time, good or bad weather, warm or cold.

 

If there is a helmet law: if it is real cold or I know I am going to be riding through heavy rains, I wear a full-face for the comfort factor. Otherwise, I wear a half - probably 90% or more of the time.

If no helmet law: commando always.

 

Whenever I do wear a helmet it's a half.

 

1/2 helmet if I'm in a state that has a mandatory helmet law

 

I have a full helmet, Once I start hitting up some bike rallies then I will start looking for 3/4"
