Help Save Harley!

You might be surprised at the number of aftermarket companies that deal with engines, frames, parts and components for the older models.
I have a Panhead and a Shovelhead, and even though they aren't ridden that much anymore finding parts for them is no big deal.
Even J&P Cycles has a special "Vintage & Restoration Catalog" on top of their normal "Harley Catalog".
The "Vintage & Restoration Catalog" is about 350 pages, and carries everything from frames, engines, transmissions, and anything else you need. You could almost build a Vintage Harley from scratch.
Covers 1929 through 1984 Flatheads, Knuckles, Panheads, Shovelheads, K Model Sportsters, etc... (Shown Below)..

No problem, somtimes posts can get a little "heated". Thats what forums are for. I'm guilty too.

Ok, Maybe its not that drastic, but I do know that the economy pretty much is in the toilet. I am no major investor, but I've started and of course my first purchase was HOG stock. It is around 10 bucks a share, and dropping. Maybe if enough of us bought HOG stock we could avoid the demise of our favorite motorcycle company. Just my 2 cents, if you think I'm nuts that's ok, but I am going to keep buying and just thought everyone should know.

It can't drop much lower? Look at General Motors, Citigroup etc etc etc. There are quite a few multi-billion dollar companies who now have stock that is trading at under 2 bucks a share. Yes...it can drop lower.

I really hope that H-D never goes under. I don't even know what I would do. Where would anyone get their bike serviced? Would the dealerships still be there? What about all the people working at the dealerships too? Scary!

I'm not calling you a liar but I wonder where that info comes from? I was there several days last week and I didn't see them moving squat. Of course that doesn't mean they didn't, but the showroom and the outside were full every time my buddy and I were there, I didn't see much bike-buying going on...they did appear to be selling a lot of merchandise, I'll give you that.
