The wife and I went down to Daytona for the 500 on the week of the 15th. We stopped at a dealership off of I-95 in Daytona. The dealership name was Bruce Rossmeyer's. There were 3 or 4 people selling raffle tickets for the boyscouts and I think they said they were giving away like 15 new Harley's and a couple old trucks from the 40's. If I remember right they said the drawing would be on Sunday at the end of bike week which was yesterday. Does anyone know of this or who the winners were. We misplaced our ticket stubs, but I'm sure we didn't win.

 

i sometimes question the validity of those types of drawings. 9 times out of 10 folks who did purchase a ticket are gone or on the way home and never know if a drawing ever took place. not to question the boyscouts or any other groups integrity here, just makes me wonder who really sets these up. i am sure alot of them are worthwhile and legit. and i imagine some are just schiesters lookin for a quick buck. buyer beware.

Yes thats it, they even had some of the bikes there and one of the trucks with a bike in the back of it.

 

They have been selling those tickets for about a year from there.

 

Nope, we didn't win either. It's good to know it wasn't a scam and our 50 bucks went to a good cause.
