What I like about the SERT is that it is basically a re-program of the ECU on the bike now. You have no sidecar connection, that is subject to moisture, or connection problems. ie you eliminate a connection and a second point of failure.

That accounted for many have success with both.

For me the SERT.

I may be wrong here and I know alot of folks say good things about the PC but my understanding, and someone will correct me if I am wrong, as I said I may be, is that the PC just "tricks" the O2 sensors to make it work. If that is the case I don't personally like that setup.

Sert should be $450 or so and maybe more but the advantage of the SERT is that you can adjust rev limiter, spark advance, etc and the others basically adjust fuel...

Yea, I had called my local HD dealer, and asked about the SERT, they said it was 460...I me personally I heard a lot of good things about both, but I think I'm going to go with a Power Commander, but as long as the bike runs well I dont think you will be upset either way..Good Luck

I went with the Power Commander due to the price. It seems to work pretty good, however if my budget allowed I think I would go with the SERT.

Good decision as if you aren't gonna make significant engine mods you don't need the SERT...IMHO

well both are good products....i know guys that have used both and i just got my bike back last saturday from my dealer with the sert installed as well as the ness big sucker and some new rush slip ons with 2.50" baffles and i am completely satisfied...nice throttle response and no decel popping whatsoever.the bike is running great through all ranges of the throttle...that being said i have never heard anyone say that they were unhappy with using a sert but on the other hand i have heard complaints on using a pc.altough not many i have heard it.and of all those that switched from pc to sert were totlly happy.....if the money allows for it i would take the sert anyday over the pc.
