+1 for motorcycle superstore. They happen to have a warehouse right here in our valley. I can walk in and buy anything they have.

I buy mine from Dennis Jerk, cause it is jus' down the road a piece. NO, not the cheapest, BUT close, and if I have a prob, they are, CLOSE.

I just ordered front and rear HD Dunlops for a buds Classic, from J&P, they were $130 and $120.

I do my own mounting and balancing. But the 2 indys that do it round here besides me, charge $20 to mount them. NO idea what the dealers get.

i was at J&p cycles in daytona near rosmeyers for bike week last saturyday. they had a tire tent set up. i aske the knuckle head how much for the rear dunlop for my sporty. he says 144.00 pluss 55 to mount and balance. WTF? you would think they would offer some kind of deal during bike week. Bullshizit! the superstore sells them for 117.00 and free shipping. i will take the rim off and take it and get it mounted here locally for 20.00. Do they think people are really that stupid? FYI, the metzler price there was crazy!

THANKS mcRider, I was thinking about this the other day. I don't need tires at the moment but with riding season about here it won't be long.

I go to a shop in San Jose called road Rider. they have all kinds of tires (even HD) and their prices are 30% cheaper than the dealer and they charge $10 to mount and balance a tire if you bring them the wheel.
