I am also sick of the MBBW Post but what I have read appears to be incorrect info to some degree. I AM NOT associated in any way to the Bike week, dealers, vendors etc, etc. Just passing some correct info along. This dealer (MB Harley Davidson) has been the most correct info source I have found. The have been more that active in the quest to keep people correctly informed...........so as said JUST info for those who want to know.and yes the dealer and the other people are trying to keep their business open so they are doing what they can to achieve this....I can not blame them.........STAY the HELL out of the CITY LIMITS OF MB and all is good! MYRTLE BEACH BIKE WEEK IS NOT MOVING
This e-newsletter is to inform all of you the Myrtle Beach Bike Week is not moving.

The Carolina Dealers Association, which had a 10 x 30 booth to sell t-shirts at last year's rally, announced they weren't returning to Myrtle Beach and creating a 2-day event in New Bern, NC.

This would be the 2nd year that they had abandoned the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

The Dealers Association never recognized the 10-day rally. They never stayed more than 4-5 days.

Myrtle Beach Harley-Davidson is not part of the Dealers Association.

There were 400 vendors at bike week last year. The Dealers Association not returning is the equivalent of one bike week vendor not returning.

The fact that they are leaving has NO IMPACT on Spring Bike Week. The dealers association has had little or no impact on the rallies for years.

Bike Week is ON, May 8-17, and we look forward to you attending.

The City of Myrtle Beach has added ordinances and doesn't want bike week.

The City of North Myrtle Beach is welcoming bikers.

Horry County is welcoming bikers. They have moved around some of the vending permits, but there is the same amount as last year.

All of the same great locations will be open this spring: Myrtle Beach Harley-Davidson; SBB Original; SBB 4 Corners; Beaver Bar; Broken Spoke Saloon; HB Spokes, etc...

I'm sure this info is in one of the other twelve threads. We need a specific forum just for MB talk..........Just think we've over 2 more months to talk about this crap before it happens and then afterwards we can spend all summer talking about what actually went on.

 

OK I got it straight now. Still not planning on going anywhere near there.

 

I'll take it a step farther, SC can kiss my ****. I did like Charleston though.
