If you look through the various topics, you will find many STUPID questions. I thought it would be nice to have them all in the same place. [sm=icon_rofl.gif]
Ain't gonna happen.

By the very definition of a "stupid" question the associated poster will fail to realize the question in question is "stupid". That means that each "stupid" question will warrent it's own thread. Preferrably spread across several sections of the forum so as to gain maximum exposure. Just as it is easier to start a new thread than it is to use search for similar topics. Left unchecked, "stupid" can, will, and has spread to all levels of life.

Where is Darwin when we really need him?

There ain't no fixin' stupid.
Well said. [sm=smiley20.gif]

I like to think: IGNORANCE is curable, STUPIDITY is forever

You'll find it under the lid of the right side saddlebag. Use a crowbar to pry it loose. It takes 27 number 45 torx screws to attach it to the inner primary. You can see where it goes by removing the starter.

Good.... I've been dying to ask this.... My dealer says if my tires get old and start to dry-rot, I can just take some used motor oil and spread it all over the tires and they'll come right back. Is that right? And spraying WD-40 on the brake rotors will stop them from squealing...

I have yet to try these ideas. Thought I'd get some feedback first...

Correct on both points. However, be sure to use 50W75 racing oil taken from a 600+ hp stock car. Anything else will void your warranty. And, the WD-40 must come from a can purchased as part of a multi-pack (3 or more).
