Daytona Half Helmets

Daytona Half Helmets
Has any one wore a Daytona half helmet. It seems to be the lightest one out there. Any Comments on this helmet, or suggestions on a light half helmet?

I snow ski a lot and there is a running joke between alpine skiers and telemark skiers that could be used in motorcycling. The alpine skiers say to the tele guys, "Half a binding, half a brain". And the tele guys come back with, "Free the heel and the mind will follow"
I'm of the alpine mindset, although I do wear a half helmet..........only when skiing!

Could be wrong, but I don't think the original poster was looking for a 'half helmet vs full helmet' opinion debate, he was just asking a specific question about lightweight half helmets.
Anyway, the DOT approved Daytona helmets are very popular, and would be a good choice.
I've never worn helmets (yeah, the horror, the horror) as I've always been around states that still believe adults can make their own decisions when it comes to protective gear, but I do have an old half helmet for use when riding through states with mandatory helmet laws. I'd have to dig it out and check, but I believe it is one of the Daytona models...
Here is a little more info on the Daytona DOT model;
