When you get your TBag loaded, and on the rack you'll be surprised how much it does weigh... Balance is key however. Try to keep all your heavy stuff low, and as close to the center of the bike as possible. For example tools, very bottom and front of the saddle bags. Work back from there. Heavy items should always as low as you can get them. Light items can be up higher = TBag, etc... Hope this helps.
