New Member Hello, and 1st Question

Welcome from Arkansas! I can't help but chuckle a little when I read your question, because so many new members ask the same question. "Which bike?" Most are happier with the bigger bikes; however there are some die hard sporty fans out there. You gotta go with your gut...... and wallet.

Welcome. Sit on both and decide. Personally, I think the Street Bob may be a little difficult for someone that's 5'9" tall trying to reach the forward controls. You could look at the Low Rider that offers mid controls and highway pegs.
The Sportster/Nightster will be just fine for you. 200 lb people have been riding that 1200 cc motor for decades without any problems. And 220 isn't all that big.
Bottom line, get what you want after you decide which one fits you the best.

I have a Superglide, which is very similar to a Street Bob, and my wife has a Sporty. I much prefer the Dyna. The Sporty feels too small even for me, at 5'7", and the extra gear is definitely nice to have. Besides that, you won't have to put up with the jokers who want to rag on the Sporty.
