Always wear from head to toe:

Red 'do' rag covered in black skulls.
Wrap around sun glasses.
Black tee shirt with large eagle airbrushed on front and sleeves removed.
Leather vest with chains to keep it closed. Covered in patches.
Levis' and black leather chaps.
Wallet with 10" chain attached.
Square toed boots with instep chain.

After all, You don't want to wear anything that looks STUPID, do You?

Thanks for the much needed ideas and suggestions.
A little humour never hurt either.

I can tell that everyone here wears pretty much what the like and feel safe in while riding. Very cool.

After I started this topic I went out and got these Friday from our local shop.

So I got these Friday as I knew I would ride Sunday and felt that it would be a good combination to my gear. Very pleased with them.
Not too hot while we ate lunch and played pool and warm enough to wear in 40 degree on the road conditions.
It was in the lower 60's here in FL Sunday and on the road at 50 probably around 40 with a steady head wind of 10 mph, gusty. Not exactly great riding weather, but the traffic was non existent.

So my setup so far consists of:
Full face helmet
Cordura full protection jacket, arms elbows, shoulders, dbl layer back and thermal liner
Full finger gloves with rip stop and rubber/synthetic palms
Red Route Kevlar and polycarbonate knee padding Pants
Red Head Duty boots

Later on I'm thinking about looking into getting a half helmet and goggles for the summer months as FL gets really hot during those times, and maybe a good mesh jacket.
