Default Harley alarms, forgot how to set!

Can anyone or everone tell me again how to set the alarm with the key fob? Thanks to all.

not being a smart *** but IIRC, isn't this procedure explained in the owner's manual?

Just walk away... It uses RFID as a proximity detector. It's disarmed when you're within range, armed when you're out of range. You can also set a PIN (using the turn signals) should you need to disarm without the key fob nearby.

Are you asking, press once to activate, press twice to de-activate?

I just saw Shades respose. What year is your bike?

For my 01 fxdwg, I press and hold for a couple of seconds to activate. To deactivate, press twice quickly.

^^^^If it's an 05, what he said. My RK is an 05 and I press and hold the FOB until the lights blink to lock. To unlock press FOB twice in fairly rapid succession...

If that doesn't work it may be time to change the battery...
