Hurst shifters, but does anyone else remember the Ansen shifter? Bought a 57 Chevy hardtop that already had one in it.

Crane, Edelbrock, Hurst, Hooker, all those brand names bring back memories. Used to circle these things in the Honest Charley catalog as I built the killer 327 Chevy engine of my dreams. Never got the 327 -- they were too expensive even when hot -- but I did install a Hurst 3-speed shifter in my 56 Chevy two-door post six banger.

Man that sucks...I always had good success with Crane Cams in our race engines(cars not bikes)

Oh yeah..I had a Hurst 4 in the floor..lol in a 1966 Goat (that's a GTO for you young'ens one of the best muscle cars ever)
