If they aren't comfortable walking, you won't wear them. Number one priority is comfort, ALL DAY. I went with Milwaukee boots. I tried HD, I tried cheap, and the Milwaukee's I can ride to work, wear all day and ride home with comfort. Working on a concrete floor (assembly Plant) its imparitive that I can wear them all day.

I also have a pair of redWing half boots, those are very good also.

No matter what you go with, make sure that you can wear them all day. You never know when you may have to walk in them for a few hours..

As for getting under the shift lever...thats adjustable...so no problem.

Those jungle boots are a good idea for here in the south, thanks for reminding me of them.

I wear my Redwings 2223 year around everyday. 1-work pair, 1-ride pair, 1-pair still in the box. Feel like tennis shoes and i have never had an issue with them. They are comfortable and last. I don't find them hot in the summer and i have the black. I don't think they are swim proof but my feet stay dry in a good rain and a steel toe is a must for me.

Check out Cruiserworks. Great boots, comfortable right out of the box, can walk in them all day and ride in the rain all day with them. 100% waterproof.

Picked up a pair of BMW High Air Flow Boots today at a local dealership. 210 bucks Canadian, imported from Germany, and boots are made in Italy. Here's a pic of them:

From all the boots I've seen so far these are supre comfy, sturdy, and have a nice air flow which keeps the foot cool. They also have some reflective patching on them which is good for the night time.

Another interesting boot they had was the BMW sneaker. Those were going for $ 160 and it had a really nice fit too, felt lightweight like a basketball shoe but definetely had more durability/safety. The only thing that turned me off about them was made in China, but looks wise they are awesome.

Hmm yea the Red Wings look the nicest out of all the boots listed here, I might pick up a pair next year or fall time when it get's cold. Made in the USA is always good.

Totally agree..I recently purchased a pair of these...probably the best boots I've ever owned.... not cheap, but worth the price imo.
