On my Fatboy I run my low beam and passing lamps all the time all of which have super bright after market bulbs and on my Road Glide I run my High Beam during daylight hours and low beam after dark as not to blind anyone driving at me. I also have LED taillight and turn signal/running lights.

As far as I'm concerned the more light the better!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the WG, I used high beam, but on the Bob it is fine on low - I think it is adjusted a little higher, but is can be seen clearly. I also have two kuryakyn 50mm bullet driving lights, so they help as well.

Rewired the passing lamps to stay on with the high beam. Run with the lamps & high beam on during the day. Also bought the turnsignal/brakelight conversion and added a few more lights to the rear....

I usually have the HB on all the time, during the day. The people I ride with told me that it didn't even look like the low beam was on even though it was.

I ride with low bean and passing lamps on all the time but someone here just said they rewired their lights so that they can use highbeam and their passing lamps....how you do that alazlo? That maybe the way to go. Also where did you get those Plasma Bulbs fuzzyz28?

There is a thread in the DIY section that you can print out. It's a five minute job once you take the outer fairing off. Just a matter of moving one wire...
