I use high beams day and night. The only bad thing is the high beam indicator bulb always burns out!

Highbeams during the day, and follow MDOT rules at night.

I use my low beam unless I'm on a divided hwy , I've got the HD accessory bulb that puts out a tremendous white flood light . Way too bright in traffic , really pisses off them cagers , real nice in the hills around my house . You can see everything clearly for at least a half mile , big plus when critters are out or the hills have slid a bit . Have heard some complain about this bulb as having a low life , had mine for 2 years - no problems !

high beam during day, and low at night. But i switched to Silverstar bulb and raised the light a bit. Pisses some cagers off even in low, but i just hit them with the high if they flash me.

I rarely ride at night, so my headlight is always on the low beam. If I was to ride at night, I would probably use the high beam so I could see as much as possible.

Thank You alazlo....do you still have high and low beam lights?...you must I guess. That does look easy to do.
The only thing that changes is that the passing lamps don't automatically go off when you go to high beam. Everything else works the same. al

I always ride during day with hi beam. I figure if it burns out first I will have low beam for night riding along with passing lights. Plus hi beam more visable during day.

What is the part number of the Silver Star bulb you use? Is it just a plug in type with no wiring changes?
