I like it a lot, I was thinking about one of the Italian helmets with Bluetooth, but their modular stuff is too complicated.

Could you check and see how long the batteries would last listening to music?

I would also be curious if the charger, or a charger, hooks up to the bike for trips.

What did they offer for chargers.

Mike, I will take a picture of the charger for you and post it when I get home today if you would like. It is simply a plug with a little circular stem at the end of it that plugs directly into a port located inside of the back of the helmet. It says 4 hours of talk time. I also looked into the Italian helmets but I heard it is a pain to put the thing together.

As you, I too have to have a phone on 24/7 for work... Thank god the tec. age is here, for years i couldnt ride a bike cause no way to communicate with work. I use the blueant Interphone it hooks up to any helmet and costs about $125 I do not talk on the phone while driving persay i answer only my work calls and let them know i'll be calling them back as soon as i can pull off the road in a safe place..

4 hours is not much time. I wonder if that also includes playing your music for the entire 4 hours? I can go longer than 4 hours on 1 tank of gas.

Great review.

I like the intercom and iPod feature. However, my helmet is the last place I want a damn phone ringing. I ride a bike to get away from it all, not take it with me.

Does this helmet's Bluetooth support the A2DP Bluetooth profile? If not you will not get stereo sound from your MP3 or iPod.

That's a good question Indyrider and I will check on that.

Cerk4, exactly! Who the hell wants the wife in your ear while you are out riding? Not me. However, when the job calls then I have to answer.

Thanx! I just think it is a great helmet to get some tunes going without the plugs in your ear because it is illegal in IL to ride with plugs in your ear in IL. However, the law says intercom helmets are legal

It should include 4 hours of playing music because it says "talk time". It has over 100 hours of standby time.

That's 4 Hours Talk Time, not standby time. Do you really need to talk for more than 4 hours on a ride?
You are not using "talk time" power levels (transmitter on) when listening to music.
