The best tires I've ever used has been Metzeler. I've used Dunlop, Perellli, Avon, Bridgestone...by far the best has been Metzeler.

They hold like a dream in the rain they're smooth as cream on the dry roads and stand up awesome to the kind of long mileage rides I'm used to.

I will never, if I can help it, use any other brand tires again.

Ran the michelins on my 05 Fatboy, put about 5,000 miles on them before I sold bike. The dealer started selling them when I replaced tires and asked me if I would try them ( 1st one at dealer ) and loved them. They showed little wear in the rear with the 5,000 miles. Would buy them again.

I'm about ready for a rear tire and have considered changing both out to the Commanders. I used to run Metzlers on the dirt bikes because they were the best but I have not used them on a street bike. I really don't have a problem with the Dunlops but I have not run anything else yet. Good information here...let's hear from more experienced folks...

i just put a set on my lowrider...i too had a problem getting the bead to seat..i used two ratchet tie downs around the rear and two tied together end to end on the front.once i figured that out i won't hesitate to get another set...they seem to be riding very well...after the bead seated i let them sit for a few mins, let the air out and then put in some dyna beads to balance the tires....i also am sold on them..the tires aired right up like they were supposed to...
