What kind of rain gear do you have?

I have Bass Pro Shops GoreTex. Great suit and keeps the rain completely out. Doesn't matter what is 'cool' or what others think. Dry is what matters.

These are the ones that we have. Love them. We wear them and we always hear, Boy we can sure see you coming. In bad weather you need to be seen. We have some friends who have the Harley black ones , if it is gloomy outside and dark, you can not be seen. It is a case of not only being dry, but being seen.

We just ordered the Frogg Toggs road toad model. It has reflective stripes on it. Can`t beat the price.

Hehe, well, I wear leathers. I mostly travel backroads so by the time the leathers aren't sufficient the road isn't safe. That's like inch an hour rains and interstates are about the only thing that will move water off the road fast enough. Damp doesn't bother me, but, rather, just soaked. It has to, pretty well, be coming down faster than it can blow off to get soaked.

If you like the Frogg Toggs, they have Road Toggs that have plenty of reflective piping along the seams. Works great for me and keeps me dry.

Rhonda, I had heard the Frogg Toggs don't hold up well in hard rain; that they aren't really that waterproof?
The Frogg Toggs do work, I went across OK in nearly constant rain and was amazed at the fact I stayed dry and comfortable.

Frogg Toggs - nothing else (especially for the price) compares.
