Cell phone holder

You're not serious are you? Throw the speedo, tach, radio, CB and gear indicator out as the numbers are large enough to see in that split second where most modern cell phones have very small text screens that are generally not well suited to seeing or recognizing in a split second. Rather, smart folks input specific ring tones so they don't have to look at the number to know who it is.
Now, as far as looking at the speedo, no, I very rarely look at it or the tach while riding.

I am a motorcycle courier. All my work comes to me via cellphone; all communication with dispatch is also via cell. When riding, you cannot feel it when it's on vibrate. It must be mounted in front of you so you can see if it has rung, or is ringing. I do not use Bluetooth...ever. Will not attempt to talk while riding, and I won't stick chit in my ears, except maybe my elbows. (joke). Then you pull over and conduct whatever business is necessary. I have rigged a clear plastic pouch to the handlebar to monitor it.

Man...reading this makes me wish I was back in the good old non-high-tech days when life was simpler...when we had no leashes. (which is all a cell phone is) Remember the days before cell phones? We got by just fine. I do take mine with me but I rarely check it and it's usually off. Any call I get can wait. My serenity comes first. Just ride.
