'06 Ultra fog lamp replacement
I have been on the phone all afternoon trying to solve this problem; my stock halogen fog lamps cast a yellow light compared to the blue light of the hew 6000K Xenon HID headlamp. This looks terrible and I cannot find a suitable replacement. Does anyone know of a replacement for the stock GE881L halogen fog lamps which casts a "blue light"...maybe something "plasma" or "xenon enhanced"? I am looking for something to match the new 6000K HID headlamp on my '06 Ultra. PIAA does not make this lamp yet. Thanks.

If you intend on changing the bulb you will have a better bulb selection with the Harley Davidson part number: 68208-98A’s.

This will allow you to use H-3 bulbs PIAA's Xenon or the Ion technology. Or Sylvinia SilverStars.
But, if you are interested in putting a true HID lamp into the Fog lamp (Driving Lamp) enclosure, you can use this:

This is just a bit more pricey for a set but it will get the job done. I have thought about it, but its just to expensive right now. (have other mod's in mind) But if light is what your wanting this will give it and have the "Exact" same color and intensity as the HID. You will have to custom install the ballasts into the fairing and may need to do a little to the lense case on the bike to allow the wiring to come out the back vice going through the bolt. The prefabed HID sockets for the HID bulb and ballast won't allow you to go through the bolts!
This is the H-D lamp
