Ultima 6 speed trans, what oil?

Simple (?) motor oil is designed for 'sliding' properties, where as gear lubes are designed for 'shear' properties.

20-50 is engine oil and is not meant for a tranny application. Use a heavier weight gear lube designed for a trans, at least 80-90.
