Doesn't the EG have a fork lock position on the switch? That or a rotor lock only keeps the common crooks from rolling the bike away anyhow. If the pros want your bike, they just jump out with enough muscle to pick it up and put it in a van. Atleast an alarm would be screaming as it fads off in the distance.

That's a cool idea Gump!!! Where do you get them?
I use a trailer tongue lock that fits through the disk hole and uses a regular flat key. The first one I had used the round key and was told that a modified cap from a BIC pen would unlock it. Don't know for sure if that is true but I had the trailer lock laying around. I think I paid around $12.00 for it in the Fishing Dept. at Academy Sports.
Brain fart jogged my memory as to the brand of lock:

Where I first stumbled onto them, was in Sturgis, years ago. I know Momma and I have handed out at least a dozen of these over the years.
I, too, have heard the BIC cap tale. Never tried it.
And as posted, if you guys have ever seen 'pros' heist a scoot with pipes and a van, 'nough said.

I got a Masterlock for mine but never used it yet. Is the bolt supposed to go thru the vent holes(which are to small) or the slots(which leave alot of slack)

If cost is not an object and you don't want an alarm Roadlok may a good choice.
I like it because it stays mounted to the bike and is easy to lock and unlock. That yellow tagged pin comes out to unlock.

The harley disc lock is hard to beat. Super heavy duty and has an orange coiled cord that goes from lock to handlebar. It makes me feel a little better when the bike is out of sight.
