I don't know WHY you'd "think" that...... it's outer wear....designed to withstand the elements. NOW, you shouldn't wear the liners as outerwear.... it isn't designed to handle the winds.

Gerbing is great stuff. IMO much better than the Widder gear that's gathering dust somewhere in the garage.

I have the Union Ridge outer pants (with armour)... nothing better, imo...you won't be disappointed with Gerbings...yes you can ride in whatever temps you want, it's that good. If I didn't already have the heated liner, and FRXR jacket, I would buy the Union Ridge jacket as well.

all too true about the liners but they are a good product
