Capacity on 7X12 SA enclosed trailer?
I just picked up a 7X12 single axle enclosed trailer. I am wondering if it would be too smart for me to put 3 Fattys in there. I am not worrying about weigh ins, I am concerned with blowing out the springs. Has anyone done this? Give me your thoughts on this... Thanks

Builders tag should have a GAWR (gross axle weight rating) and a GVWR(gross vehicle weight rating). If you know the empty weight of the trailer, you can calculate how much weight it should be able to carry.

Three FB's will be tight. I haul a Heritage classic and a wideglide in a 6x12 and it is tight. Look at your GAWR as above and GVWR. My tag is located on the tongue and MSO.

That size trailer should be rated with a 3500lb axle. If you are running 15" wheels and tires then I guarantee you have a 3500lbs axle. I have a 7x14 tandem enclosed and a max GAWR of 7000lbs. The trailer I had before that was a 6.5x12 flatbed that had a 3500lb single axle. I haven't seen anything that size any less. If you don't have a sticker on the tongue of the trailer see if there is still a sticker on the axle because that will tell you what the axle is rated at. I highly doubt you would have a problem with the weight. I would be more worried about the trailer going side to side having a single axle, so go slow and make sure the bikes are secured.
