Harley Davidson current status??
What is Harley's current Status? How many bikes did Harley make in 2008?I do know several of the large dealers are cutting prices on replacement parts, giving Custom Chrome, V Twin, Bikers Choice, Drag Specialties a run for the money.

Get rid of UNIONS?
There are a lot of UNION Construction Workers that ride HARLEYS because they make a standard wage and can pay one.
You are kidding, right? Businesses that are making money and have a good balance sheet don't need charity. Businesses that are failing don't need charity either. They need to go broke. Then with new shareholders (and maybe without a union), the business will carry on.
Harley is still making money and has a decent balance sheet. If you want to give them money, go buy something from them - that's how things get turned around.

Unions are good for union members because generally, they earn more. Unions are bad for the rest of the country because the higher labor costs make the goods we buy more expensive. In many cases unions are bad for union members because they end up pricing themselves out of the market and the employer decides to find less expensive labor somewhere else. They are also bad for union members and the rest of the country because they promote excessive wages for the skills available which discourages people from obtaining new skills that may be worth more to an employer. The country loses the benefits of having those people obtain higher skillsets.
I'm not bashing union members - just unions. Like other forms of socialism, they ultimately retard a country's success.

Trying to suggest I go on a charity ride to bail out a company that charges $40 for a tank top is retarded. Period.
You're a lemming if you feel some obligation to help out a company that *** rapes you with their prices.
