Default Tires

I realize that there are different factors involved, but generally speaking, how many mile can one expect to get out of a set? Thanks

Man,that's a loaded question.I've seen people post on here they got 15,000 out of stock Duns, the most I have gotten out of a rear tire so far is about 7,000,double for the front.I am trying Metz radials now,not enough miles to tell much yet,but they look good and seem to handle good.

So far, 5600 miles on my originals. A few pretty hard accelerations and one cross country trip. Looks like the rear will be good for 7 or 8 thousand miles.
Here it is with just under 5500 miles.......

On mine (traditional HD sizes) about 10K is the best on Dunlops, currently doing better with Avons. My Crossbones uses a low profile 200 radial on the rear it will be gone by 5K miles. I hope that is non-typical because I plan to use it for touring.

I have over 12,000 miles on my tires. I am guessing on the mileage as I haven't ridden in more than a week and I don't show the odometer, just the clock, when I ride. Bike is in the garage with cover right now.

My 05 RKC has over 34k,I'm on my second front and about to put the 4th rear on.The original front lasted over 18k but the rear only gets less than 9k.most of my riding is two up and that makes a differance.

how many burnouts? 1 up? 2 up? road conditions, bike's weight, rider's weight, how often you ride, ALL come into play
05 Road glide 800 pound bike, 225 pound rider, filled saddlebags, roughazzed NC roads, 3-7 times a week... lots of HOT asphalt 8k on OEM ot Metzler 12K on E-3

Truely ... your miles WILL vary
