I pick up my first HD tomorrow! I can hardly think of anything else right now!!! Dreaming about it... Spending hours a day on this damn site, reading about them!!!
Not sure of the 'hype', but I sure am excited about gettin her on the road...

*** UPDATE ***
Well, I got her home yesterday.... Rode about 100 miles..
The dreams did not stop....
It got dark and cold.. My father in law and my best friend and I stood out in the garage and drank a 20 pack just staring at her and bulls**ting
I love it.. No disappointment whatsoever!

Absolutely, next a woman that is the best thing between my two legs!!!! Can't wait to get this white/gray sh*t outta here.

It was an AMF Sporster and no, it didn't. I had to change the pipes.
The things I've changed out and added to my last HD, a 2008 Street Glide, have cost a lot more than I paid for the Sporty. Some day I hope to get it right.

Last summer I switched from a 04 BMW K1200 to a 09 Street Glide. That was a big change. It took me a while to get used to the new ride and I still do not feel like I fit in with the HD crowd, but I love the new ride. Now I slow down and enjoy the ride vs trying to take the turns like a racer.
The scenery is quite nice when you slow down a bit.
